I was recently getting my daughter's closet ready for summer, you know the changing over from winter to summer clothing, and I realized that I have a problem. Not that I have bought her way too many clothes from Gymboree (I already knew that) but that I seem to also have a slight obsession with hair accessories for her. The clippies, the korkers, the headbands, you name it.
So to my surprise when I dressed her in one of her new spring outfits this week I couldn't believe we didn't have any hair accessories to match it! What was I going to do?!?! When I explained my HUGE dilema to my very concerned husband (yeah right) he actually came up with a interesting idea. Why don't I try to make my own?
Well, why don't I???
Now I know there are some fantastic and extremely talented women out there that already make bows and accessories. Some are friends of mine. But, I think I may try this out. I have been extremely slow with crocheting and for me I was never a fan of crocheting in the summer. And the way my life has been lately I need a change, and something that doesn't take days or even weeks to finish kind of sounds good right about now! Being such a fan of hair assessories I think may also help. I have the perfect little model and the more I think about it it sounds great!
So, wish me luck and hopefully I will be able to add some new and exciting items to my Etsy shop and website very soon!!
