Snowed in..........well sorta..

Well, the girls didn't have school today because of the weather. It did snow but wasn't too bad. so we basically stayed in for the day and I decided to try to get my totes I wanted to do for Easter done.

I finished 2 and started my third. they are turning out really good. I defenitly think this will be a mainstay in my shop, along with hats and accessories. I love just being able to make things that can be quick and cute.

My 9 year old decided to join me in crocheting today also. She's learning! She is very particular though and will start the whole thng over if something looks off to her. She'll get it, I have no doubt!

Should I Add These To My Shop??

I started playing around with some yarn and filling I found. I came up with some great soft toys for babys and toddlers. I made a block, ball and a triangle so far, but I was thinking that maybe I could make sets of stacking blocks in three differents sizes or a set with a ball, a triangle, a block, or some other kind of shape I can come up with. My 1 year old daughter has been playing with them and having a blast! I'm just not too sure if I should add them to my shop? My husband thinks there great and I do too. Maybe it wouldn't hurt to give them a try and see what happens. Any input is welcome!

One cupcake to go, please!

Last night my Toddler Tote that I M2M Gymoree's Cupcake Cutie sold! I'm very excited! This was the first listing I had that was a M2M. I have a couple more to match different lines on the way. Selling this one gives me hope that more will sell! I have made one to match Gymboree's Prep Club line and it features a turtle on it, (see pic), and one for the Royal Gardens line with a tiara on it. I will be listing them on my Etsy site tomorrow. I have also started a few hats to also match the bags and lines. I think I may have found my nitch, I enjoy coming up with ideas to match and using the great colors.

Tot Totes

I started making my toddler totes last year and they are perfect to little girls to carry their "must haves" in. I am obsessed with Gymboree and my daughter always has something on from there. So, one day I thought "how cute would it be if I could make the Toddler Tote to match one of my daughters outfits?" Well, I tried and the Cupcake Cutie tote was the first one and it turned out GREAT! So now I am in the process of making more and right now I am making one to match the Prep Club line. So far so good!
